WHAT IS HYROX

HYROX is a global fitness competition that combines running and functional workouts. It features a standardized format of 8 x 1km runs interspersed with 8 different workout stations, making it accessible to a wide range of fitness levels. Here's a more detailed breakdown:

  • Standardized Format:Each HYROX event follows the same structure, ensuring consistency across all locations and allowing for global leaderboards. 
  • The Race:Participants run 1 kilometer, then complete one of eight functional exercises, repeating this pattern eight times. 
  • Workout Stations:The workout stations include exercises like SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Lunges, and Wall Balls. 
  • Accessibility:HYROX is designed to be inclusive, with options for individuals, doubles, and relay teams, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced athletes.
